This stator terminal connector insertion machine is designed with three stations, and the entire terminal press-fitting process is highly automated without manual operation.
In the first station, the pallet is indexed on the station. The elevator aligns the stator to the workbench, which uses the stack reference to align the terminal box and insertion tool. The insertion tool is driven by a servo motor to move from one terminal position to another. Terminal insertion is pneumatic.
The second station is similar to the first station. Terminals U, V and W can be inserted, and this station is inserted into the COM bridge.
At the third station of the machine, the stator is indexed, the excess wire ends are automatically cut off, and the probes test the crimp terminals and make electrical contact. After completion, the stator is removed from the production line and loaded into the conveyor belt outside the station. We can add electrical test functions to this station according to customer needs, such as DC resistance, IR, surge, high potential, and rotation.
